This photo tells a story of where it all began—working the fields as a young boy alongside my family. My parents were farmworkers, spending most of their lives under the sun, cultivating the land to provide for our family. Those early mornings in the fields, the smell of fresh earth, and the sweat on our brows were more than just work—they were lessons in resilience, pride, grit, and determination.
But my journey wasn’t over. Being a farmworker was a stepping stone to who I am today: Hijo de la Madrugada. That experience shaped me, teaching me the value of hard work and the strength it takes to dream beyond the fields. Puro 956 is my way of honoring that legacy and carrying it forward. It’s a tribute to the hardworking people of the Rio Grande Valley and a reminder to never forget where you came from—because those roots make us who we are.
